We have been here several times, always with a crowd, which makes it that much more fun. And we have only done Korean BBQ, which you cook at the table. One price gets you everything and staff will assist if your worried about 'how to do this'. Sauces, various pickled veggies, and kimchi are brought to the table, as well as crispy gyoza! This is my favorite part...all the tasty yummies with no limit! The meat is always fresh and beautiful with lots to try. A new one to us was pork jowls! But the table fave was the spicy pork. If you want a low key, fun night out with friends I highly recommend trying this place!

My fiancé and I stopped in from out of town and the service and food was slamming. We were the first customers there on a Sunday afternoon and the quality did not disappoint. We did their AYCE with unlimited appetizers (spicy rice cakes, fried dumplings, japchae and corn cheese) for $45/pp and their portions were great for the price! We did order pork belly and this may sound silly but the smell was too "porky" you know what I mean? lol. It just had a very strong pork smell/flavor so we weren't a big fan however, the la galbi and beef bulgogi were great (can never go wrong with those). They also had purple rice for an additional $5 and we also ordered the pork kimchi soup for $10. The pork in that wasn't potent and we enjoyed it just fine. Go figure. We will definitely come back if we're ever in the area again!

The best KBBQ spot in Charleston, no competition. The premium AYCE is unbeatable with high quality meats and unlimited appetizers. Even the dine-in side is amazing with authentic Korean dishes/flavors and hefty entree portions. I would highly recommend trying their banchan as it tastes authentic and house-made. I'd also give the sushi and bar a try, both are fantastic! Great menus, flavors, and a wide variety of rolls and drinks to suit everyone's pallet. Service here is always amazing and the ambiance is fun and on theme.

Great food and relaxing atmosphere. It's best to make reservation but I have walked in many times and they have accommodate our group to be seated fairly quickly.

Let me start off by saying the honey butter fries are one of the best things I've ever had. I think about them constantly. Went at 6 pm on a Wednesday and it wasn't too busy. Servers were friendly and attentive but more importantly, the food was soooo good! Will definitely be back soon!

I love it here!! The Korean music sets a vibe in the restaurant. I had the Sako flight! The service was great! I sat at the bar.

I need to give this place 5 stars for the service and the food. It was AMAZING!! The food here is no joke and our server was so friendly and we had another staff member also give us a full service experience. Some of the best service I've ever had. Great job. I read reviews before coming and it seems a lot of the stars knocked off are because of the building itself - the parking lot is pretty run down, and inside the booths and tables are dated and kinda falling apart. There's a huge disco ball in the entryway and tbh when we came in.... Our expectations dropped a fair bit bc of how dated the building is. Don't let this fool you. Their servers are some of the nicest and most attentive I've ever had and their food is banging. We asked about the kimchi bulgogi fries and our server was super honest and shared that the cheese on them seems like a weird choice and was not her fav. Instant respect bc her honesty. She recommended the truffle fries, we went with the yamyam buns with bulgogi beef and WOW! I saw pictures of them and the appearance is deceiving - the buns look bland and dry, but the meat is SUPER flavorful and the bun was perfectly done. My boyfriend and I took a bite and looked at each other - we knew we were in for a good night. Next we ordered entrees, he ordered the jajangmyeon noodles (chewy wheat noodles with black bean gravy, potato and ground pork) and they were DELISH! Our server recommended these and they were so yummy. Huge portions too - his entree could've easily fed both of us. I ordered the broiled Korean eel. 11/10. If I could eat this everyday I would. It came with my choice of white or multigrain rice and banchan (Korean sides). The white rice was perfectly done and the banchan was cuttlefish, cucumber kimchi, radish kimchi and cabbage kimchi. Their cabbage kimchi has a thicker paste on it than I'm used too but it was so good. I liked everything but the cuttlefish - I've never had it before, and I'm not a picky eater but I think it's just not for me. Very well made and great strong flavor, just not one I like (VERY fishy). We ordered a flight of Soju (Korean rice liquor, very similar taste to vodka), and tried the blueberry, green grape, mango and strawberry. The last two were our favs. We had the strawberry mochi for dessert and it was great. Our total was pretty high, but we both had drinks, flight of Soju, appetizer and two higher priced entrees (mine was $32). So our bill was abt $115 tax and tip included, which, to be honest, wasn't too bad considering how much food we got. I went home with basically my entire entree because I had filled up on apps and noodles. You can easily split an entree between two people. Portions are VERY generous, but there's also plenty on the menu in the 12-20 range. I am SO sad we are not from here, I would go here constantly if I lived here, it would be too dangerous. They're not playing around - seriously, the food is so good. Definitely check this out if you like good food, nice people and a relaxing, chill vibe.

Well, the decor is definitely unique. But I was surprised by how yummy the food. My friend took me here for dinner when I was visiting in town. I heard her talk about how great this place was for years and finally make it out. To be transparent I was worried when walked in and saw the disco ball in the entry way. I am happy the 843 didn't disappoint. The prices are fair and the sizes of dish were enough for leftovers. Next time I will try to save room for dessert.
